In July 2000, Eagle Rim Skatepark was added. This skatepark is located on the bluff of the Colorado River, adjacent to Orchard Mesa Middle School off 27 and 188 Road, and is approximately 9,000 square feet and is equipped with concrete ramps, fun boxes, rails and a trail for inline skating. It is the less technical of the two parks, and is excellent for all ages and skill. The adjacent skate track also connects users to the Colorado River Front Trail System.
